Goat milk soaps are gentle cleansers rich in fatty acids that can help soothe dry skin and may help in reducing inflammation. This range includes goat milk with chamomile and worm wood powder for their anti-inflammatory properties, shea butter and avocado oils for their moisturising effect and red yeast for its skin brightening property. Who doesn’t want a soap with 2-in-1 or 3-in-1 benefits? The addition of herbs, clays or honey helps create soap bars that pack a bigger punch especially for those with combination or oily skin types.

Charcoal powder is a deodorant which is also antibacterial – yay for those of us who do sports or sweat frequently. Pink clay can draw out impurities and also has minerals with skin repairing properties, so it’s great for beauty aficionados. As for the honey bar – it lathers well, maintains hydration and is anti-bacterial too (not to mention it smells sweet as honey!). And last but not least, the green swirl soap … well, yes, we couldn’t resist adding some green mica (colourant) for a soothing swirl colour. At the same time though, it still has the addition of yellow clay for its minerals and cocoa butter for a hard bar that is moisturising. For this set of soaps that is more cleansing for those of us with normal to oily or combination (but not too sensitive) skin types.

Why Do Some Of The Soaps Look Different In Color?
Soaps in picture may differ in look and colour from the actual product received. As much as we try our best to keep the formulation consistent, handmade soaps do come out differently for every batch and occasionally the soap maker may take creative liberties during the soap making process to tweak the formulation or ingredients used.

How Are Your Soaps Made?
Our soaps are made using the Cold Process technique. Cold process soap making is the act of mixing fixed oils (eg. common oils include olive, essential oils) with an alkali (eg. sodium hydroxide, or lye) to create a chemical reaction known as saponification. The reason we use Cold Process is so we have complete control over the ingredients we use. Cold process soap has no added detergents, which can strip your skin of its natural oils. Additional ingredients may be added to increase skin loving benefits to your skin.
